Training Co-Ordinator (Cereals) FTC
The core focus of this role is to co-ordinate the required training to support the Shift Managers and maintain a high standard of training in line with site policies and procedures. Update the training matrixes and paperwork
Key accountabilities
- Work as an effective trainer with a positive attitude to problem solving
- Induct new shift starters into the business
- Monitor the business needs for any required training to be sourced out (i.e. scissor lift, food hygiene etc.)
- Support all departments with new equipment/policies with SOP’s and training
- Adhere to health and safety and food hygiene policies & record all near misses.
- Promote a culture of positive safety behaviours within your team, demonstrate strong safety leadership and address unsafe behaviours and working practices to coach the right behaviours.
- Record and send out monthly training figures
- Update and maintain the training matrix when required to an audit ready standard
- Awareness of Health and Safety risks with all required tasks on the shift
- Responsible for adhering to safe systems of work processes and acting in a safe manner to protect the Health and Safety of yourself and others at all times
- Knowing when to escalate any problems
- Report any conflict or neglect and any work related issues to your Manager
- Ensure all work is completed in line with SOPs
- Highlight and address training gaps in the team
- Follow all Quality systems and procedures to ensure our products meet food safety (HACCP), legal and customer requirements as well as maintaining external standards e.g. BRC, IFS, Femas.
- Ensure all SOP’s are audited on a regular basis as prompted by the matrix
- Highlight and address any training gaps in the teams
- Hit monthly training KPI’s
- Flexibility in working hours to help accommodate training needs if required
