Senior National Account Manager

An exciting opportunity to join and be part of a leading organisation with ambitious 5-10 year growth plans and lots of potential both within the Jordans Dorset Ryvita Sales team and the wider ABF group.

We are looking for a high performing Sales individual, with the potential to become a future leader within the business to continue to drive the growth of our share of cereals and biscuits within this top 2 mults customer. In this role you will need to demonstrate strong category selling skills along with a thorough understanding of the consumer. You will have the opportunity to work across the entire business, driving the agenda for your account, lead cross functional teams, setting direction and delivering action orientated plans which will make a real difference to the business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Phased volume, revenue, spend and variable account contribution targets.
  • Key strategies and actions that will deliver the overall plan
  • Promotional plans that will deliver the maximum penetration / growth for all three brands.
  • Sales growth driving plans (range, space, layout) that will deliver the maximum business benefit.
  • Category development agenda to deliver the category vision, as appropriate.
  • Make these account plans live and effectively drive daily actions and customer priorities.
  • Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships that are leveraged to gain commitment to the proposed plans.
  • Take accountability for leading and directing other Jordans, Dorset, Ryvita personnel in understanding the customer priorities, opportunities and risks whilst ensuring all interactions are complimentary and synchronised.
  • Work with the Customer Controller to undertake an annual and quarterly business review with the key customer that involves all relevant personnel, reviews what has worked and presents the year ahead at a strategic level.
  • Gain commitment from key customer decision makers to the account plan and the growth opportunities.
  • Volume, revenue, spend and variable account contribution as agreed.
  • Create & execute the format plan (online & store formats)
  • Work with the Category Manager & Customer Activation Executive to implement an appropriate Shopper Marketing plan that achieves the agreed standards of ROI/Trial/Penetration/Loyalty
  • Ongoing leadership, coaching and development of the account customer manager (direct report) specifically: measurable annual objectives and appraisals and development plans including projects, coaching and formal training.

This role is a hybrid between office and home, office is based in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.
