HR Advisor

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the JDR HR team to advise and partner our Biggleswade Operations teams and Sourcing and Distribution teams.

What's it all about?

This is a fast-paced and varied role, working really closely with people managers to provide pro-active generalist HR support; challenging and coaching to deliver our JDR strategy. The core focus of this role is to support managers to ensure that we are recruiting, developing and retaining brilliant people and that they have the right capability and behaviours within their teams, to be able to deliver our goals. You will take ownership and accountability for the end-to-end management of recruitment and employee relations cases, not just advising but providing high support and high challenge to build line manager capability to enable people to perform at their best.

You won't just be supporting others to deliver the strategy, you will have a role to play yourself too! Alongside your core 'day job', you will be leading and supporting the delivery of a range of People initiatives across learning & development, inclusion, reward and recognition. We are looking for somebody with fantastic generalist HR experience, but more importantly with a pro-active and positive approach who wants to really make a difference to their customers and the business. Experience and Skills

  • Previous generalist experience in a HR department working across all areas of the employee life cycle (essential)
  • Experience preferably within an advisory role and comparable manufacturing environment (desirable)
  • Proactive approach and great organisational skills
  • Either CIPD/part CIPD qualified, or willing to enter into CIPD study
